Specifications: CTI manufactures a complete family of high reliability industrial trackballs which are the finest OEM and Panel Mount input devices used as industrial computer mouse pointers. These industrial trackballs are in service in military, aerospace, process control, medical and other critical applications.

CTI industrial trackballs are rugged input devices and have been in service for over 14 years, without the need for repair, due to the quality of the materials used. They feature formed Teflon sealing rings in a metal collar for spill resistance, aerospace grade stainless-steel bearings, dual-redundant photo-transistors and precision high count encoders.

CTI industrial trackballs provide a NEMA 12 (IP65) sealing, options are available for extreme operating temperatures and vibration protection. These industrial computer mouse pointers are ideally suited for harsh environments, military vehicles (e. G. Keyboard trackballs), aircraft (e. G. Trackball mouse pointers), medical instrumentation (e. G.

Microsoft trackballs), etc. These computer mouse input devices are available with full travel, sealed switches that in combination with the formed Teflon ring provide spill resistant protection. Since CTI industrial trackballs are in direct contact with the hardened stainless steel shafts CTI industrial trackballs do not require rubber or foam rollers.

Rubber or foam rollers wear-out, get contaminated, require frequent cleaning, and become distorted and ineffective while operating in extreme temperatures. Panel mount trackballs are protected from below by a blue anodized aluminum cover that also includes a drain hole for fluid egress.
