Vga Kaubandus As
About us | The company has been in business since 1991. That year the soviet union broke up and Estonia became an independent state. Main activity was importing variety of foods from EU countries to Estonia and trade with Russia. In 2003 brand new meat factory dedicated solely to processing beef jerky snacks was built. The idea came after realization that European meat snacks market is lagging way behind the rest of the world and especially the United States. Go to any supermarket or convenient store and check out a snack section. It's full of greasy potato chips made from starch and tons of sweets. Here or there you can stumble across some sort of dried sausage with high salt and fat content. The factory has been accepted by Brussels veterinary authorities and listed as an approved establishment on official veterinary web site. The factory has been also inspected by Russian and ukrainian veterinary authorities and approved for export of its products to those countries as well. It operates to the highest international food safety and hygiene standards under the supervision of the veterinary and food board, a governmental agency carrying out its tasks under the government of the ministry of agriculture of Estonia. In 2003 the company implemented international hazard analysis critical control point (haccp) system to insure the safety of its products. The company carries out constant veterinary and hygiene control, inspecting product quality and compliance with standards and food safety assurance programs. Basically, all this means that we take every step possible to supply you with the safe, highest quality and yummy beef jerky made to the best traditions of the wild west. |
