Mississauga Metals And Alloys
About us | Mississauga Metals and Alloys has refined its focus away from the usual product and service offerings of metal recycling companies. Through its close working relationships with companies in the nuclear industry, including manufacturing, fabrication, and fuel making sectors, MM&A has listened carefully to the specific needs of the customer. During the last 10 years, MM&A has continually sought to expand the services it offers along this line. Recent expansion has included Low Level Radioactive Waste (LLRW) metal recycling for fuel makers, providing a lower cost, environmentally sound option for reduction of metallic radioactive waste. MM&A is presently undergoing an Environmental Assessment with the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission and the Ministry of the Environment for the installation of a low level radioactive waste incinerator. This will allow the fuel maker to dispose of a wider variety of contaminated recyclable materials, or the disposition of metals which contain more non-metallic materials within them such as paper, fabric, and wood. While Mississauga Metals and Alloys continues to improve the quality and competitive advantage of its product line, it also strives to offer valuable solutions for the industries involved who are generating the scrap. MM&A also welcomes developmental project inquiries which may be beyond the scope of most recycling companies. |
