| About us | Life and the grapevine. Close to man since the beginning of time, the grapevine has proven to be capable of resisting aggressive influences over the passage of time, to be able to adapt to even very difficult conditions and to defend itself, reaching our times undamaged. Thanks to detailed research started several years ago in the United States, which evidenced the correlation between the longevity of a Mediterranean man and the consumption of wine, and also thanks to many years of dedication and scientific research, we have examined the secrets of the grapevine and grapes and believe we have managed to utilise their natural properties for man. Essere, an Italian company located in the Piedmont region, surrounded by the Monferrato hills, was created by putting together the experience of those who have cultivated the grapevine for centuries and of a cosmetics laboratory involved in such research for years. We have created Vitis Aurea, a professional line of anti-aging cosmetics, created to combat and prevent the signs of skin aging, a line that is innovative, effective and enriched with active extracts of red grapes, whose content is never lower than 20%. And thus we have introduced to the world of cosmetics a new concept in the tracing and controlled creation of our active principles. We make use of resveratrol and polyphenol, substances contained in grapes and red berries, in grape seeds, in the peel and leaves and even in roots. Proven and effective antioxidants, these substances slow down and prevent the effect of free radicals on the skin, and limit skin aging and tissue loosening. In combination with other natural substances that extend their effects, the active principles extracted from grapes act effectively on all types and ages of skin. The method of use proposed by the Essere Company with regard to the Vitis Aurea line has been studied specifically for the requirements of a modern professional women involved in the field of aesthetics, attentive to progress in research, to the naturalness of components and to the effect of treatments.
