Densigraphix Kopi INC.
About us | He was correct, and as the dealer base migrated to selling and servicing the first generation of Japanese plain paper copiers, Densi introduced generic toner, to lower the dealer's cost per copy and thereby increase their bottom line. At the same time, Sel Drum Corporation was founded, targeting the same customer base as Densi, but focusing not on toner, but on replacement copier parts such as drums, blades and fuser rollers. Both companies grew tremendously, constantly striving to keep up with the plethora of new machine introductions that has not abated over the years. In 1989, John Brohman, now the president of Densigraphix, saw the potential of the fledgling laser cartridge remanufacturing business and introduced SX and CX supplies to the then tiny Canadian industry. The only other suppliers at the time were US based, and the Canadian remanufacturers embraced the first Canadian distributor of laser products. In 1999, Densigraphix acquired Sel Drum Corporation, a perfect fit that has given their customers an ability to one-stop shop for both toners and copier parts. Densigraphix now serves two distinct markets, the dealer who sells and services photocopiers, and the remanufacturer who recycles laser toner cartridges. As time has passed, the crossover between the two markets has increased substantially, to the point where many customers from both markets are selling and servicing laser printers, in addition to their main business. Densigraphix is therefore well positioned for future growth in the imaging industry, and looks forward to the many challenges and further changes to come. |
