Bedsores are serious problems for bedridden patients, especially for those who cannot turn over by themselves. Through prolonged contact with the bed's surface, one's skin can easily become inflamed and then ulcers can develop. Ulcers cause patients severe pain in addition to their original ailment, thus making the work of nursing these patients even more arduous. Conventional mattresses used in the treatment of bedsores are mainly designed as preventative, not restorative. The remarkable curing effects of this air-flow system have now been clinically proven, and THREE HORSE mattresses are widely used in many hospitals and homes for long-term bedridden patients. 1.Why bedsores occur: Due to high local pressure on parts of the body, (caused by prolonged lying in the same position), impeding the circulation of blood, from which ulcers and tissue necrosis can occur.
