In 1937, German chemist Otto Bayer has discovered the polyreaction between isocyanate and active hydrogen compound, which has established polyurethane chemistry foundation.

In 40s, German has made the polyurethane bond; in the 50s, a German called Adam synthesized mixed polyurethane smelting rubber (MPUR) and polyurethane casting rubber (CPUR), the trade name is Vulkallan.
