Polyacrylamide is a kind of vitreous solid. It is easy to absorb water. The speed of water absorption varies according to the ion characteristic of deriv ative. PAM is soluble in water and or organic solvents, such as acetic acid, glycol and amine.
It is mainly applied in the industrial oil extraction, sugar manufacturing, coal washing, ore washing, paper making, wet metallurgy, food processing, biulding material.
