The raw material for making microcrystalline wax is the vacuum residue of natural crude oil.After being refined by propane deasphalting and furtural,this raw material goes through the procedure of oil removing by ketol.Thenit is processed by clay refining and Hydrogen finishing.Finally,it is cooled and then the production of microcrystalline wax series is finished.Microcrystalline wax was once called ceresin,a kind of purified petroleum wax gum whose colors range from white to light-yellow.Microcrystalline wax products are graded according to the colors,oil content and condensed aromatics content,including the accepted grade,the first grade and the foodstuff first grade product is split into five categories according to the drop melting point:number 70,number75,number80,number 85 and number 90.

Microcrystalline wax is always a white or light-yellow solid substance with very tiny crystalline. It has high permeability,adhesiveness and tenacity and its damp proof ability and insulation are very good has been widely used in the fields of electrical industry, glazing, packaging, founding and foodstuff manufacturing.
