1 Dispense Heads > Template The Dispense Head Template window is displayed. 2 Move the cursor to the Component ID data field. The Categories list box is displayed. 3 From Push [Tab] to move to the Dispense Head data field. 6 Enter the dispense head number that is assigned to dispense the se-lected component. 7 Tab to the Orientation data field.

8 Board Handling/Transfer Device: These choices indicate if a board handling system is mounted and if it is, the position of the transfer devices in relation to the insertion machine. Each position has a list box that contains the possible choices. Select the arrow to the right of the list box to select the appropriate device.

Enter the orientation of the component as it is dispensed from the dis-pense head. 9 Push [Enter] to display the data in the dispense head list. A message confirms that the component was successfully assigned to the desig-nated dispense head. 10 Select OK. 11 Repeat steps 2 through 10 for each dispense head assignment.

12 When the dispense head template is complete, save the template. Template > Save As The Save Dispense Head Template As dialog box is displayed. 13 Enter the dispense head template name in the Template Name entry field. 14
