â‘  zinc oxide can be restore to the original state by carbon, carbon monoxide and hydrogen at high temperature.
â‘¡ Zinc oxide is an amphoteric-oxide, which is slight soluble or insoluble in water. It generate relevant arsoniumsalt after reaction with acid, Zn(OH)2 after reaction with alkali and basic zinc carbonate reaction with carbon dioxide and other acid gases.
