Product Description
Specifications: PABLO PICASSO-SPANISH (1881-1973). This is a sketch study for Les Demoiselles d\'\' Avignon, one of Picasso\'\'s most celebrated paintings. This is an original charcoal drawing and is absolutely not a common print or lithograph. It is also signed on the bottom right corner (by hand) Picasso, also in charcoal.
It is vintage framed with an old wood panel back seal. The drawing looks to be about 11 X 8 within the 17 X 13 frame. This drawing is being sold from the collection of the elderly owner of a Real Estate Removal & Cleaning Service who has accumulated quite a collection of art and antiques from being in the business for over 50 years.
The seller could not afford the very expensive and time consuming appraisal process and decided on an Auction Format to let the public determine price. Almost all items were accumulated without paperwork or documents, so they will be sold as is.
With supporting paperwork a simple Picasso drawing can be worth upwards of $10,000.00 or more based on very high demand for quality Picasso artwork. A Picasso drawing on your wall makes a very powerful statement. And this original charcoal is quite intricate, skillful and spontaneous.
