United Kingdom Marantz DV 7600 DVD Player

Specifications: Want top-of-the-line performance at a bargain price? Choose the marantz dv7600. Not only does it play dvd-audio and sacd high-resolution, multi-channel audio discs, but is also includes fine touches like a built-in video scaler, vibration-resistant chassis, and multiple output options.

Even though there seem to be more and more \'\'universal\'\' disc players on the market every day, quality players are difficult to find. The dv7600 combines universality and quality in a uniquely marantz fashion that adds up to exceptional performance.

It plays dvd-video, dvd-audio, sacd, CD, CD-R/rw, and VCD discs along with MP3, WMA, and jpeg files on CD-R/rw. And it provides true dsd processing for sacd discs. That\'\'s a lot of capability, but wait until you see and hear the performance!

Superbly engineered Discrete multichannel analog audio circuitry includes unique high current hdam-2 output modules mounted on a separate circuit board for extra isolation.

Hdam stands for marantz\'\'s proprietary high-definition amplifier module 2 super audio, and when you hear the dv7600, you\'\'ll know how the technology got its name - it\'\'s truly high definition and absolutely super!

The chassis includes a double-layer bottom plate to minimize vibrations and the transport mechanism is highly damped to minimize tracking problems that can affect both picture and sound. Built-in video scaler No need to purchase an outboard video scaler when you\'\'ve got the dv7600. Amazingly, it\'\'s onboard!

The video scaling circuitry outputs video signals in 720p or 1080i hd formats. Video circuitry includes a separate progressive-scan 10-bit d/a converter in addition to the main 216 MHz,14-bit video processor. Nsv (noise shaped video) circuits further reduces video noise for extraordinary reproduction.

Progressive scan component video output with true 3:2 and 2:2 pulldown gives film-based dvd-video discs the smooth, natural look of film on compatible tvs. Array of advanced connections The dv7600 boasts advanced connectivity options. It includes five video outputs, including s-video, composite video, and component video plus hdmi video outs.

On the audio side, it incorporates digital, two-channel, and multichannel analog audio outputs. For custom installations, multiroom operation, and more, it incorporates an rs-232 connection plus a d-bus rc-5 input and output. Other features include full bass management for dvd-video, dvd-audio and sacd discs, including delay parameters.

The lip sync control makes it easy to perfectly synchronize audio with on-screen action for the last word in realistic dialog. You also get a customizable start up screen, parental controls, a high precision transport mechanism, fine video adjustments, and a beautifully designed wireless remote.
