South Korea Doddy Robot

Specifications: Since its establishment in 1991, has focused its effort on the development of artificial intelligence robot and visional inspection device for over the last 14 years.

In consequence, with strong edge on robotics, the company has developed and provided various familiar robot products including robots for industrial automatic control facilities, education, and science, etc. Doddy, the lizard shaped robot moves by reacting to the sound.

It\'\'s an elegant, refined mechanical design combines a single motor, a crank system, and a geared motor assembly to deliver a unique four-legged lizard-like walking motion.

By assembling doddy kits for themselves, students can afford to understand the mechanical structure and power transmission process of a robot, the moving mechanism of the robot driven by one motor connected with gear systems and cranks. Description: The running part is composed of one motor with gears, and a crank makes doddy move forward.

While doddy moves, doddy`s eyes flash. Working mode: S-on: Doddy walks for a while after detection sound M-on: Moving out of sensor input. Doddy shakes it tail while walking. Feature: 1. Both fully assembled product and do-it-yourself(diy) kit are available. 2. Reacts to sound (goes or stops in response to sound such as your clap in sensor mode) 3.

Walks with four legs 4. Recommended age of use:10 or above 5. Required time for DIY kit:2 hours approximately. Sensor: C-mic Motor: DC motor 1 Battery:3v (2 AA battery required) (not included) Height:100 mm Length:360 mm Width:70 mm (approximately 2 hours needed for your children in case of diy(soldered) kit) Doddy (diy kit) helps students to understand; 1.

Basic structure of electronics and mechanics 2. Sound sensor operation 3. Power transmission system from motor to legs through gear & crank mechanism
