Sesamoz, lda (mozambique sesame, limitada) Established in manica province of mozambique in 2006, we are producing high-grade sesame oil from quality sesame seeds cultivated in the region.
Farmed mostly by small-scale (peasant) growers, we are also encouraging the local farmers with better farming practices, disease control, crop management and general agricultural advice and assistance to improve a rapidly expanding sector in this fertile region of africa.
The oil quality is suitable for edible and non-edible use (cosmetics, massage oils etc. ). The by-product (cake) is highly nutritious and prized by the local poultry and stock feed industries. We will also entertain enquiries for the purchase of the sesame cake.
Our sesame project is still young and currently we are producing around 20 tonnes per month, however as the seed supply expands, oil production will increase. Our product is shipped, packaged in 210 litre (us)fca approved drums. We are looking to establish a reliable market and can arrange shipping from beira via air or sea freight.
