This Vertical Rail is made by high precise CNC machining center. With integral "on-end"clamp fits to all Arca-Swiss standard quick release plates. Anodized to a scratch-resistant, black finish. The most important function of this product is that it can create a vertical component for mounting your camera. In order to make better use of this Rail, we suggest to follow our using instructions with other Sunwayphoto to achieve excellent photography.

1.Two Panning Clamps DDH 01B. For fast leveling and fruid precision panning in both horizontalor vertical axes. Mount one to the top of Ballhead, one to Vertical Rail. (see image) Panning base laser engraved at 15 increments from 0-360.

2.One Multi-Purpose Rail DPG-216B/Tsupplies the horizontal foundation for this combination. Rail integrates laser engraved scale, robust design accommodates considerable cantilevered load. (see image ) Then allow your equipments shift left/right on this multi-purpose rail to adjust the position precisely rather than moving your tripod.(see image)

3. For this Vertical Rail DMC-200,with "on-end" integral clamp slides onto the Multi-Purpose Rail to create quick-mount vertical component. Beefy rail cross-section ensures good stability. (see image)

4. Base on above steps, if you want to shoot panorama in vertical aspect, you can add a Panning Clamp to the top side of the Vertical Rail.(see image) besides, your camera must equiped with a quick-release plate or L-type plate on the bottom. Then you can slide your camera into the Clamp and lock tightly.

5. If you are going to shootwith the camera mounted in portrait mode, only a conventional plate is required; mount camera securely in the clamp of the Panning Clamp. If you are going to shoot with the camera mounted in landscape mode, an L-plate is required; mount camera's side dovetail securely in the clamp of the Panning Clamp(see image). (but you have to hold your camera when you are going to remove it from the Clamp in case of accidently dropping)

6. All the above process containseverything needed for simultaneous horizontal and vertical panning. but you need One Multi-Purpose Rail Nodal SlideDMP-200 for shifting camera fore and aft for precise positioning the nodal point(see image). Loosen the Clamp of the Panning Clamp and slide yourMulti-Purpose Rail Nodal Slide into the Panning Clamp, Then mount your camera on the Multi-Purpose Rail Nodal Slide and tighten the clamp securely. Now you can slide your camera foreor aft until you've aligned the nodal point with the laser-engraved centering index mark on the panning clamp. (a plate or a L-Plate must required on the camera bottom) After finish all these steps, now you can work panoramic photography on horizontal and vertical simultaneously.
