Delivery condition: hot rolled or forged + normalizing + Tempering + Quenching and tempering + Normalizing and tempering + Annealing . Chemical composition:

Heat treatment: quenching temperature 820 ℃ ~ 870 ℃, water-cooled, tempering temperature 550 ~ 650 ℃,

Application: Widely used in machinery manufacturing, this grade has good mechanical properties. But this is a medium carbon steel, Quenching performance is not good, this grade can be quenched to HRC42 ~ 46. if need a good surface hardness, and also need superior mechanical properties, usually do surface carburizing, so this can get the required surface hardness.
