SINTEROM owns a well equipped test benches and engines laboratory for the testing of spark plugs, including a LABECO spark plugs heat value rating bench. The good quality of the raw materials used in the manufacture of SINTEROM spark plugs and the strict observance of the manufacturing technology, guarantee a high quality of these products.

The deficiency of Diesel engine regarding to the hard starting at low temperatures or with a cold engine was solved by the preheating of the fuel-air mixture in the precombustion or combustion chamber through a resistance converting the electrical energy into heat.

The glowing elements of these plugs(the filament or the sheath) reaching at a pre-heating temperature of 850 C to 1100 C determine the preignition of the fuel-air mixture. At custom demand we are able to manufacture also other types of glow plugs.

Sheath type glow plugs(1-st generation) Sheath type glow plugs are used for the pre-heating of the fuel-air mixture in the Diesel engines at low ambient temperature or a cold engine.

Quick start sheath type glow plugs(2-nd generation) Quick start sheath type glow plugs are used for pre-heating of the fuel-air mixture in the Diesel engines at low ambient temperature or a cold engine.

Super quick start sheath type glow plugs(3-rd generation) Super quick start sheath type glow plugs are used for the pre-heating of the fuel-air mixture in the Diesel engines at low ambient temperature or a cold engine.

Coil type glow plugs Coil type plugs are used both for Diesel engines, for pre-heating of the fuel-air mixture(at low temperature or cold engine) and for pre-heater or heater.
