Property
Lithopone is a white pigment composed of a mixture of Barium sulfate (28-30%) and Zinc sulfide (68-70%) with trace amounts of Zinc oxide.
A strong whiteness and hiding power.Insoluble in water, with hydrogen sulfide and the lye does not work, dissolved hydrogen sulfide gas when meet acid. It is readily oxidized in the air.
