Jordan Seeker Aircraft is a Vehicles & Transportation product. Key specs — Origin: Jordan.
Product Description
Specifications: The SEEKER is a truly versatile manned platform optimized to provide aerial surveillance and allow for the timely reporting of potential threats, tampering and malfunctions to essential infrastructure elements.
Developed as a highly cost-effective alternative for many low-level observation tasks currently being carried out by helicopters for which vertical take off and landing is not mission essential, both the acquisition and running costs of a SEEKER typically will be one-third that of a comparable twin-seat helicopter.
The key discriminator between SEEKER and other manned light aircraft is the combination of a helicopter type cabin with a conventional fixed wing aircraft body, so permitting significantly high levels of situational awareness and coordination between pilot and observer. The pusher-engine and semi-cantilever wing are mounted above and behind the cabin.
This allows for high visibility, safe, stable low-level flight with excellent flight and handling characteristics combined with very low vibration levels and audible signature.
The unique configuration permits a surveillance system mounted below the fuselage to have a full unobstructed forward vision, free from forced air, engine oil and exhaust gasses, and other contaminants.
Designed to operate on widely available Super-Unleaded petrol (MOGAS 80-87), the SEEKER is an affordable and highly appropriate solution into a market for which there is no credible competition.
