Product Description
Needle roller bearings are made of a machined outer ring and a needle roller and cage assembly. They are very compact due to their low radial section height and require a hardened and ground shaft as a raceway. It have a lubrication groove and lubrication hole in the outer ring.
Cage roller assembly are complete units consisting of a cage and needle rollers and require a hardened and ground shaft and housing bore as raceways. It have low radial section heights which correspond to the diameter of the needle rollers and have high load carrying capacities.
Needle roller bearings are especially easy to install and can provide bearing arrangements with high runout accuracy depending on a geometrically accuracy of the raceways on shaft and housing. Radial clearences can be adjusted with needle roller sort and the shaft and housing tolerances.
