Specifications: Activated Carbon in general is a microporous form of Carbon manufactured from Coconut Shell, wood and coal. Itis available in granular form as well as powder form. The base material for Granular Carbon is mainly Coconut Shell Charcoal or Coal and for powder carbon the base material is wood charcoal.

Activation is achieved with steam and it develops myriad of pores with enormous internal surface area. APPLICATIONS: I Water treatment 1. For the removal of taste, odour, chlorine and dissolved organic contaminants from potable and process water and used in RO Plant, DM plant filters, Tap water filters, Desalination plants and Aquariums. 2.

Protection of Ion exchange resins as Prefilters. II Effluent Treatment 1. Removal of Hazardous wastes, Organics and Odour from waste water. III Food Processing & Beverages 1.
