HR5 Fuse-switch-disconnector

HR5 fuse-disconnector with rated voltage up to 50Hz660v and rated current up to 630A is applicable to the distribution circuits and motor circuits with high short-circuit currents as the power switches, switch-disconnentors and emergency switches and for circuit protection purpose. But generally it is not suitable for directly starting or stopping a single motor .

Structural Features

HR5 Fuse-disconnector is composed of triple-pole base, upper socket set with built-in arc chute,lower socket set and removable cover. The cover also functions as the handle and the fuse-link is fitted to its back. When replacing the fuse-link, the cover may be removed from the base to avoid the touch with live parts. The sheet spring on both sides of the switch base equip the switch with fast making-breaking function.

When fitted a fuse-link with fusion striker , open-phase protection can be realized via breaking the contactor control circuits by ejector pin and auxiliary switch .
