The HP Elite Book 8470p is a solid business-class laptop armed with sufficient firepower to give reason for adding "multimedia powerhouse" and "gaming rig" to its start again. For those who don't require a ruggedly designed system, though, analogous laptops with cheaper price tags will get the occupation done.

With the Elite Book 8470p HP is trying to build on the achievement of the preceding model, relying on the tried and trusted. And why shouldn't they - as long as the foundations are burly. Our test model is well made, very steady and with a 14-inch anti-glare HD display with a slanting measurement of 35.6 cm.

Also, the very agreeable input devices and application presentation speak for themselves. However, we don't want to give away all just yet.
