GL EH40 steel is a kind of hot rolled high tensile strength steel. Higher-strength GL shipbuilding steel comes in 12 grades of 3 strengths, EH40 is one of the grades.

GL EH40’s thickness is between 51mm-70mm, MinYield(Mpa) is 390Mpa, Tensile(Mpa) is 510-650Mpa, Elongation (%) is 20% Min Impact Energy is -40 41J.

GL EH40’s thickness is between 71mm-100mm, MinYield(Mpa) is 390Mpa, Tensile(Mpa) is 510-650Mpa, Elongation (%) is 20% Min Impact Energy is -40 50J.
