FINAL ARTICLE INSPECTION SERVICE (FAIS)

A FAIS is performed at the 100% stage when goods areready for shipment. A percentage of completed products are selected atrandom and checked against product specifications to guarantee quality,functionality, labelling and all other requirements. Full report withphotographic images and video footage are produced after assessment.

Itis also advised that importers add a condition clause at the Letter ofCredit that goods shall only be released upon customer's confirmationand the Inspection Certificate issued from a third party on customer'sinstruction as this provides double security to the customer.
