Deswelling lubricant Deswelling lubricant, also named clay controller and clay lubricant, is a kind of high efficiency clay deswelling agent in view of formation plugging caused by clay swelling. Deswelling of the clay and prevention of reservoir damage are realized by ion exchanging of polymer and inhibiting of diffuse electric double layer of the clay.
