Beginner: 1 Year Chinese Learning Program

As like other beginner language courses run under Lanhai program, in this 1 year program, special emphasis will be placed at Chinese Listening and Speaking in the first 6 months. This helps students to build the confidence in further study in Chinese, as he will be able to actually listen and speak Chinese, with real Chinese, in real life, instead of simple class room talk.

Polytechnic’s Lanhai Buddies will be of tremendous help also. Two to three Buddies will work with each international student in reviewing the class work, and speak Chinese 1-3 hours every day.

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to attend the classes instructed in normal speed Chinese for the native Chinese students.
