Product Description
Specification: White crystalline or granular powder. Taste a little bitter and salty. It has hygroscopic. In 100°C gesso lost, but absorb two gesso again when placed in wet air. It is soluble in water easily, and is able to dissolve in methanol, not soluble in ethanol, ethyl acetate and acetone. Specific Density 3.86, Melting Point: 963°C.
Refractive index: 1.635.Toxic medium, LD50: 118 mg/kg (with no gesso plan).
Applications: Determination of sulfate and selenium acid salt, chromatographic analysis, intravenous drip determination platinum, soft agent. It used as materials to manufacture barium salts. Also used as pesticides, rayon extinction agent and manufacturing color pigment and barium deposit.
