Indications: 1.Infections of respiratory tract due to S.pneumoniae, S.pyogenes and most strains of H.influenzae. 2.Meningitis due to N.meningitidis,S.penumoniae,H.influenzae & Listeria mono cytogenes. 3.Infections of Urinary Tract caused by E.coil, P.mirabilis,Enterococci, Shigella, S.typhosa and other Salmonella species.
4.Gonorrhoea 5.Bacterial endocarditis caused by Streptococcus viridans or Enterococci. 6.Prophylaxix of bacterial endocarditis. 7.Prophylaxis of surgical infections.
