It dissolved in water easily and doesn't dissolve in alcohol. The aqueous solution presents acidity, the temperature of dehydrating as 86.5 , when heat to 250 to it will lose crystallize water, when heat to 300 the anhydrous aluminum sulfate beginnings to resolve, when the temperature is 860 it is resolve for the r-AL2O3·SO2 etc.

The anhydrous crystalline is a kind of white crystalline which has pearl sheen.[Application]Treatment for the drinking water and water for industrial use.Mainly used for senior paper manufacturing and Forging Size, and the capsule treatment of Titanium Dioxide manufacturing.
