1.Characteristic As a type of white crystal, acrylamide, shorted as AM , molecular formula CH2CHCONH2, is easily dissolved in water, carbinol, ethanol or propyl alcohol, but only slightly in ethyl acetate and chloroform, and slightly soluble in benzene. There are two active centers in its molecule, so it's reactive to sub-acidity and alkalescence.
