AKG C 12 VR TUBE MICROPHONE

The c12vr is the reincarnation of the legendary c12 microphone from akg. The c12 was one of the most famous tube microphones in the history of recording and was graced by some of the all time classic artists. The c12vr is an exact replica of the original c12, from the capsule sound to the original 6072a vacuum tube. The only difference is that its self noise and some components were optimised to meet the current state of the art. The c 12 vr continues to set the standard for quality, providing its famed warmth and presence, which are direct results of its unique tube (6072), diaphragm and transformer design. The available pick up patterns include omnidirectional, cardioid, and figure-eight with six intermediate patterns. The nine remotely selectable pickup patterns make the c 12 vr a necessity not only for vocals, but for instrumental solo recording, as well. Providing a sound beyond words, the c12vr is the ultimate in vocal microphones, a worthy investment for the professional artist. &nbsp
