Optcore's 10GBase-LR CWDM X2 module O2C10G-XX10DCR is a hot pluggable module that is usable in typical router line card applications, Storage, IP network and LAN and compliant to X2 MSA. The 10GBase-LR CWDM X2 module is a fully integrated 10.3Gbit/s optical transceiver module that consists of a 10.3Gbit/s optical transmitter and receiver, XAUI interface, Mux and Demux with clock and data recovery(CDR). This version of 10GBase-LR CWDM X2 module uses an cooled CWDM DFB Laser Diode to achieve 10km over standard single mode fiber as 10GBase-LR of the IEEE 802.3ae. It operate at nominal Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing (CWDM) wavelengths. There are eight center wavelengths available from 1470nm to 1610nm, with each step being 20nm.
