The manufacturing firm Zashchita(in the town of Nijni Taguil, Sverdlovskaya region, Russia) produces man-to-man armoured protection(flak jackets of 1,2,5 degrees of protection, bulletproof helmets). Our production has been exhibited several times at the International Exhibitions of Arms including the Russian Expo Arms and Interpolitex. It is used by a number of the sub-units of the Russian Federation Ministry of Internal Affairs as well as by units of the special armed forces of the Russian Federation.

The facilities of the man-to-man armoured protection which our manufacturing firm produces meet the high and safe requirements of the state standards of the Russian Federation. All our production passed close control and obtained the inspection certification. The successful combination of traditions and innovations allowed our firm's specialists to create the man-to-man armoured protection means, excelling many of the both domestically produced and foreign analogues. Without losing durability, reliability and vitality, the weight of the flack jackets is considerably lowered which in turn reduces the likelihood of fatigue for a soldier, and improves mobility. In a number of models of the flack jackets the protective area is extended. The well-thought cut and design of the flack jackets considerably raises comfort while wearing. It must be noted that the use of modern special materials decreases the danger of the ricochets, as well as strong impact of bullets and fragments.

At the moment our manufacturing firm has worked out and has applied in industry an armored element the thickness of which is not more than 2 mm. The above-mentioned element is used in producing the ballistic vests as well as for working out the bulletproof helmet of the 2nd class of protection. This helmet will be the recent development, having no analogies in the world: The weight of the bulletproof helmet - not more than 2 kg, the total area protection - not less than 12 dm.
