YAK PAK is the leading trend design and manufacturer of contemporary bags and packs. Credited as the first company to market such milestone products as the mini backpack, DJ bag, and single-strap shoulder bags, the Company has always stayed true to its original goal of offering innovative, wearable designs that meet the needs of people like themselves: New Yorkers.

In addition to the YAK PAK brand, the company also designs, produces, and markets under exclusive licensing agreements, all Dickies (Williamson-Dickie Mfg. Company), MTV (MTV Networks), Penguin (Perry Ellis International), and Wrangler (VF Corp. ) bags. Each category is distinct in styling to capture the unique assets of the brand it carries.

YAK PAK bags are distributed through directional retailers and it's not uncommon for these image -oriented accounts to carry all five brands. Key retailers include: Pacific Sunwear, Sam Ash, Tilly's, and Urban Outfitters.

YAK PAKs aer regularly featured in films, music videos, television programs, and fashion editorials including: Cargo, Lucky, Teen Vogue, and The Source. YAK PAK also operates a high-traffic retail website and a concept store in San Francisco near the legendary intersection of Haight & Ashbury.

All products are designed at the YAK PAK headquarters in New York City and are manufactured at their wholly owned factory in EL Salvador. Distribution is handled out of their recently opened modern warehouse facility in Houston, Texas. Founded in 1989, YAK PAK is owned and operated by former Georgetown University classmates Rolando Cohen and Stephen Holt.
