Vietnam Forest Corporation

Vietnam Forest Corporation was established in 1995 by merging ten Corporations and Unions belonging to the former Ministy of Forestry. As of March 2001 Vinafor has 50 subsidiaries locating throughout Vietnam.

Main activities of Vinafor categorize in:

- Economic forest afforestation, protection and trading,

- Forest, agricultural, sea products exploitation, transportation, process, preservation and trading,

- Production and trading: solid wood, high class furniture, handicraft, special forest and agricultural products, animals, ornamented trees, interior decoration, bamboo, rattan products,

- Production, process and trading wood based panels: particle board, fibre board, plywood, block board,

- Mechanical manufacture: agora-forestry machine, lifting equipment, steel structure, car - motorcycle assembling,

- Recruitment of Vietnamese workers to work abroad

- General import-export trading.
