Southern Wire is the leading steel wire manufacturing company in Malaysia. The Company has been in operations since 1969 and currently operated in 2 locations, i. E. Shah Alam(Selangor) and Ipoh(Perak).

Been a fully owned subsidiary of Southern Steel Berhad since 1992, Southern Wire's products cover bedding& seating wire, automotive and industrial wire, wire rope, cable armoring wire, gabion wire, fencing wire, staple wire, stitching wire and so on.

Southern PC Steel, the fully owned subsidiary of Southern Wire, manufactures prestressed concrete strand and wire and PC Bar. In addition to being MS ISO9001:2000 certified and complying with SIRIM standards of Malaysia, Southern Wire's products are also conformed to international quality standards such as API, Llyod's, ABS, ASTM and BS.
