Shanghai Huaming Power Equipment Co. Ltd is the biggest On-Load Changer(OLTC) manufacturer in China. It is under the administration of the Machinery Bureau of the Electrical Power Ministry of the P. R. China. The company possesses assets of more than 20 million US dollars.

The company was established in 1989, there are 364 employees now and 40% of them are technicians and engineers.

It's products can be used in the transformer with the voltage class up to 220kV. The company has supplied the OLTCs to more than 300 transformer producers in China.

The company's quality assurance system was approved according to ISO9001 in 1996, proudly to be the first to get the certification in the field. Its market share in China is more than 80% of the total. In addition to domestic market, the products are also sold to South-East Asia, Africa, Western Asia and Middle East. In 1998, the company invested 4 million US dollars in building a new workshop, buying CNC machinery. Now, the company has CAD work station in design dept, the maching center in machining shop and the computer management system covering all business.
