Scanning Technologies provides on-line process investigation services to refineries, chemical plants and gas plants. Our services are all non-intrusive and are perfomed while your vessel is operating.

Gamma scanning provides a density measurement through the vessel (typically distillation columns) to observe internal fluids and mechanical structures. This service can be used on trayed or packed towers to determine liquid height on trays, foaming, flooding, damaged internals or fouling.

Neutron backscatter services can determine material interfaces within vessels. Usually solid, liquid and gas interfaces are determined and often different liquid interfaces can be determined such as oil and water.

Pipe scanning is used to locate blockages in above ground pipelines or to determine slugging through a pipeline.
