The project was signed between COMA-VIETNAM and IMR S.p.A -ITALY in 1996 under the name of Sanitary Fittings and Acessories production project.
After four year constructing and perfecting the project, Thanh Xuan Construction Machinery Company - COMA12 (now: Vietnam-Italian sanitary fittings Company - SANFI) was officially named and established under the dicicion No. 554/QD-BXD signed by Minister of Contruction on April the 4th, 2000 and officially go in to operation in 2001.
