Wugang Refractory Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred as to RCWISCO), is a wholly owned subsidiary of WISCO-Wuhan Iron and & Steel (Corporation), and is one of the main manufacturers of refractory in China. Put it into production in 1960, it currently covers area of 750,000 square meters including building area of 250,000 square meters. With net assets of 589 million RMB and total equipment weight of 14,000 tonnes, it employs 220 engineering & technical personnel including 21 senior engineers, 10 master post-graduates and 3 doctor postgraduates.

The general productivity, products quality and economic benefit have been in state of elevation through alteration, expansion and new construction. With advanced technology, well-equipped facilities and full test measures, importing some key equipment from Germany, Japan, etc, our company has 3 rotary kiln, 6 tunnel kilns and 22 over 6,300 KN high tonnage presses including 30,000KN fully automatic hydraulic press and 16,00KN automatic friction press.

The main three series products of RCWISCO are refratories, metallurgical furnace charges and non-refractories. Refractories mainly refer to good quality common material and function material, such as converter magnesia carbon brick, converter porous plug, ladle lining brick, siding gate system, combination brick for blast furnace and hot blast furnace, torpedo lining brick, monolithic argon blowing lance and various good performance unshaped refractory materials etc series products, some of them come up to international advanced level. Non-refractories are magnetic material, anticorrosion carbon brick, reaction sintered SiC kiln furniture, micro-grain corundum porcelain ball ect high technology ceramics products.

RCWSICO insists on market as guide, strictly practices ISO9001 series standard, widely develops technical cooperation with universities & colleges and research institutes to improve product grade and take vigorous action to expand product series. At the moment ,applied range of our products is expanded from metallurgical industry to building materials industry, chemical industry, auto industry and electronics & louder speaker industry etc. The products of RCWISCO have also been sold to customers all over the country and exported to other countries such as Europe, U.S.A., Japan and the countries and regions in southeast Asia except meeting WISCO's needs.
