Orbis Online

Orbis Online offers an online competitive bidding tool that significantly reduces the costs of products and services versus traditional competitive bidding methods. The company currently deploys patent-pending electronic procurement technology that is transforming the traditional competitive bidding process into live, more powerful events worldwide.

The advent of the Internet has radically transformed the way in which companies and consumers conduct business worldwide. To say the least, it has become a key component for buying and selling products and services to consumers as well as businesses. This latter exchange of information over the Internet has come to be known as Business-to-Business Commerce (B2B) and, although market estimates for the growth and size of B2B vary depending on the definition and methodology used, it has been reported that forecasts for the total market will eventually be $32 trillion.

Orbis Online has demonstrated through the use of electronic bidding events like the real-time reverse auction, businesses and governmental agencies realize substantial savings versus the traditional paper-based procurement methods. Bringing buyers and qualified suppliers together was virtually impossible and not at all practical before the Internet became a critical business tool. In the transparent marketplace that Orbis Online creates, customers watch live, as real-time competitive bidding events result in lower costs for a variety of products and services.

Orbis Online has engineered a suite of procurement and asset disposition tools utilizing XML (eXtensible Markup Language). This suite is available for use by customers and partners in an Orbis Online hosted environment or, if desired, virtually embedded within customer websites. Our product suite can be tied into any existing customer technology and includes:

Real Time Reverse Auction Procurement

Standard Reverse Auction Procurement

Sealed Bid Procurement

Standard Forward Asset Disposition
