| About us | Olibaza s. L. Is an extra virgin olive oil manufacturer and distributor located in baza(granada) spain, just about one hour off the south central coast. This area is well know for the quality of its olive oil production the olive variety primarily grown in this region is the picual. The extra virgin oil obtained from the picual olive has a characteristic greenish-gold color. It is fruity and slightly bitter in flavor and has a fresh sensation that leaves a prolonged taste in one s mouth - as a high quality extra virgin oil should. It is also a dense product, so when placed on a surface, such as salads, it will not freely run off. Because of its great taste and decorative appearance Olibaza s extra virgin olive oil is a great item to use on special occasions but is affordable enough to use on a daily basis. Olibaza is a sought-after brand in many parts of spain because of its bold taste. A taste that can only be obtain in this part of the country from the picual olive. The locally grown picual olives are brought to our factory, mechanically cold-pressed and bottled here. Olibaza s extra virgin olive oil has an acidity of less than 0.5%, which ensures you that the oil was made only from the freshest and highest quality olives. Peroxide levels are less than 10(max.
