Company Profile
New way agencies was established as a youth self-help project in 1996 by a school teacher who was alarmed by the high rate of un-employment which was clearly reflected among the youth through evil acts of theft, drug abuse, fighting and general poverty!
The teacher organised the youth and mobilised them to put up farm houses using local construction materials and he provided them with polythene roofing sheets and innitial spawn.
The company ventured in the buying of the harvested mushroom for organised marketing though every youth was free to sell to any market of his/her choice.
Of the proceeds, each youth had to pay back to new way agencies the costs for the innitial spawn supplied.
By this time many of the youth have succeeded and have enlarged their farms and the proceed of their projects have enabled them to live improved lives with their families.
New way agencies is now eyeing the international market for mushrooms fervently. Our development strategies spread over this year; is geared towards achieving this goal.
