PT Naga Semut was established in 1967, growing over decades from humble start by its founder in Central Java. Naga Semut specializes in plastic bag packaging from PP, PE (LDPE and LLDPE), HDPE; then there is raffia and PET, as the core businesses and manufacturing services that provide for and support the needs and requirements from consumers and business establishments (commercial and industrial market segments) across ranges of applications such as food and beverage, agriculture, and apparel industry.

The plastic products are characterised with qualities of strength, durability and economical value. The manufacturing facility is capable to produce customized sizes and printing with certain conditions apply. The products of Naga Semut can be found at traditional and modern retail markets, industrial purposes and households.

The plastic bag packaging can be accomodated to meet food-grade and environmentally friendly standards. It begins with the use of 100% premium plastic resin and additivies of oxo-biodegradable D2W, EPI and oxium, as required by international standards. The awards granted by Central Java provincial government are acknowledgement of Naga Semut’s commitment to help with environmental preservation through proper treatment of plastic waste in the factory vicinity.
