Mobia/Chung-hsin Electric & Machinery Mft. Corp.

Mobia is the brand name of the data collection/auto ID products produced by the Wireless Communication Division of Chung-Hsin Electric & Machinery Mfg. Corp. Established in 1956, Chung-Hsin was Taiwan's first manufacturer of electrical generators and is also a well-known maker of air conditioning, power and environmental system products.

The company has managed numerous engineering projects for power companies, government contracts, the military, and major manufacturers like the semiconductor fab UMC. Highly conscious of maintaining its expertise in R&D, Chung-Hsin has established technical partnerships with worldwide leaders including GE, ABB, York and ICC (United States); Hitachi (Japan); and Volund (Denmark).

Chung-Hsin has quickly expanded its Mobia-brand auto ID product line to include long-range handheld terminals; compact, wireless pen terminals; and mobile computers. These products are available with wireless, real-time automatic identification and data collection functions to enhance operational efficiency in the retail, healthcare, manufacturing, logistics and distribution industries.
