| About us | Today May Seed Group's core business involves the research, development, production and sales of vegetable, agronomic, forage and cotton seeds as well as seedlings for both the domestic Turkish market and the international market. May Seed Group is comprised of four separate entities: May Seed, May Agro, MayCukonar, and FideMay. With over 180 employees May Seed Group is Turkey's largest investor in the seed sector. May Seed specializes in the research and development, production, marketing and sales of vegetable seed. The company is the producer and distributor of 114 cultivars representing 23 vegetable species and produces 50% of the registered, certified annual vegetable seed production of Turkey. May Agro is solely engaged with agronomic and forage crops. The product line includes 6 species - Hybrid Maize, Hybrid Sunflower, Soybean, Sorghum, Sorghum-Sudan Grass, and Alfalfa encompassing 21 different cultivars. May Cukonar, the third entity of May Seed Group, specializes in the production and delinting of cotton seed. The company is located in Adana's Haci Sabanci Industrial Area. Our delinting seeds meet world quality standards and are sold domestically and to European Union markets in appreciable volume. FideMay, the newest entity of May Seed Group, is focused on the seedling business. The company produces top quality vegetable seedlings for greenhouse and open field vegetable growers. All three of the seed entities of May Seed Group, have been awarded the Seed Researchers' Certificate by the Turkish Ministry of Agricultural. This certificate signifies May Seed Groups commitment and investment in Research and Development providing for the privileged treatment of testing and registration of newly developed germplasm. |
