Mahin Group

Mahin group is one of the vertically integrated leader in export of apparels and textiles in bangladesh. In 1985, the company started with a ready-made garment-manufacturing unit named mahin apparels ltd. A well-equipped and experienced apparel-washing unit is the added advantage, which has the expertise to consistently create fabulous washing effects on all types of garments. In 1996 the group resolved to plow back the earnings from the apparel manufacturing unit into backward linkage industries and an investment was made in a textile unit. Group also extended its dyeing facilities which has commenced it's production in august 2003. In june 2000 the group established it's own insurance company named crystal insurance company and also apparel marketing unit named top2botm ltd. Apart from all the group has substantial stake in grameen software ltd. The flagship it company of grameen.

The group also is in process to establish it's own yarn dyeing facilities named hamid yarn dying mills ltd. Initially with production capacity of 5 ton per day. The facilities will start its production by third quarter of 2003. Towards the total composite set up the group also planned to set up it's own spinning facilities just after the yarn-dyeing project.
