| About us | Though the company is young, it is not a new business for the group. Seeds and spices have remained our blue eyed boys for years. It is our Ancestral business. Our ancestors started this business in 1936. In 1936, the late mr. Nensey palani the father of our present CEO mr. D. N. Palani entered into a buisness of foodgrains and seeds and spices - local and exports. He made rapid strides in few years. During 1952 he was elected the director of the Bombay oil seeds exchange limited. Mr. D. N. Palani tookover/joined him in the business in 1954. He remained thick and thin with seeds and spices between 1954 to 1964. It was a decade of his dedication to these products. New item was added to his business in 1964. It was guar gum, which slowly started occupying an important place. The period of 1964 to 1969 Was a transition period. He was slowly moving to guar reducing his concentration on seeds and spices. On 1st april 1970 he established a company maharashtra traders to look after exclusively to guar business he gave up seeds and spices. Since Then it was only guar on which his mind and soul were fully engaged. Today his core business is guar - agency for the exports of guar products. His experience in this business stretches to over 40 years. Joy international, his brain child has taken to seed - spices; manly sesame seeds picking up from where it was left in 1969. With him his two sons sucessfully shared the responsibility of business. Biren the elder son has completed 20 years in business with him and in his own and the younger son joy 17 years.
